About Kate
Kate Walsh is well known in the area, with over 35 years' experience with horses, from breeding to competing. Kate has extensive experience in dealing with problem/difficult horses, and breaking and bringing on youngsters.
As well as having a successful show jumping and working hunter career, including being European SJ and WH Appaloosa Champion 1995, and WH Finalist at Wembley in 1992, Kate has enjoyed many years as a successful breeder. As one of the only Appaloosa breeders in the area, Kate’s stallions Dirk's Orion and Orion's Cinnabar have enjoyed successful careers and produced some excellent offspring. Kate is extremely approachable and always willing to help with any queries or problems. However, she is renowned for being rather messy with a paintbrush – so steer clear if you see her holding one!
