Other services
We offer a range of services, to cater for individual needs. Our on-site services include the following:
- Tuition: Marie Kent, BHSI (E&T) is based here at Chelworth Fields. Marie started her career at the Talland School of Equitation, where she ran Pammy Huttton's competition yard and competed her up-and-coming young dressage horses. Marie still works part-time at Talland, alongside her freelance instructing. She's competed up to, and including, PSG as well as Novice Eventing and BSJA Newcomers. Marie trains all levels of REPLICA IWC PILOT'S riders, from beginners to PSG, and eventers from intro to a combination that competed at Badminton in 2007. Children and adults on a private or group basis are welcome.
- Dog grooming: Mandy Deyager owns Barkers Barber, a family-run, professional dog grooming service, with 30 years’ experience.
- Farrier: Shane Hobbs DIP WCF is our on-site farrier and makes regular visits, however, you are welcome to use any farrier you choose. Shane’s contact details are on the ‘Contact us’ page.
- Shows: We hold regular shows including show jumping, dressage, rustic jumping, dressage to music and derby jumping. We are always adding new dates and events – please see our ‘Shows and events’ page for details.
- On-site show catering: We have our own on-site catering facilities for shows, and serve a delicious and varied range of hot and cold home-cooked food. From jacket spuds to chips and chicken curry to cauliflower cheese, our food always proves extremely popular with competitors and visitors.
- Clinics and camps: We are in the process of arranging show jumping and dressage clinics and a Summer Camp – look out for more details of these coming soon.
- Horses taken for breaking, schooling, and preparation for sale. Problem/difficult horses also taken for re-training.
- Clipping services.
- We have a local reputable motor mechanic for MOTS, services, horsebox repairs, etc.
- Natural Animal Feed supplements are available to order on-site to members only. Best Clocks
